Today I attended the Global Creative Forum at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. I thought that it would be a good networking venue. The forum opened with comments from the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and actor Michael Douglas, UN Messenger of Peace, as the moderator. Other experts from world organizations and leaders from the entertainment industry were also in attendance as panelists throughout the morning and afternoon sessions.

The Global Creative Forum was all about bridging the Hollywood creative community and United Nations to tell the stories about the United Nation’s goals, challenges and successes throughout the world.  The theme of the forum was empowering women, especially in the underdeveloped countries.

Heart wrenching stories were told by guest panelists about disease, human trafficking, human rights, the environment and more.
